Follow up is available upon request, including parent consultation, home programming, behavior management and other consultation. Additional intervention services will be developed over the course of the next two years, as UMACC becomes more familiar with community resources, existing intervention services, and community needs.

Specializes in diagnosis and treatment of children with ASD’s and children with regulatory problems. Research interest is in bi-polar disorder in young children. He has participated in the Senior Clinicians group with Stanley Greenspan and Serena Weider and is an expert in the DIR Model of intervention for young children with ASD.

Their practice offers comprehensive assessment of children including developmental, cognitive and neuropsychological testing. They also provide therapy services and parent guidance. The practice has several speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, performance coaches, tutors, pediatricians and neurologists who they consult with and offer direct referrals as needed. They also provide social skills groups for children with high functioning autism and Asperger's syndrome. One of their consulting speech therapists offers a social communication group to address the needs of children within the autistic spectrum from a slightly different standpoint than the typical social skills group.

Directs the Infant Diagnostic Clinic which evaluates children with developmental delays including ASD. The multidisciplinary evaluation team includes psychologists, speech and language pathologists and occupational therapists.

The Wayne County LICC provides a community based comprehensive system of services for families of children with special needs, primarily from birth through five years of age. They can connect families who are concerned about their child's development with resources, answer questions, and make arrangements for appropriate evaluations and services.
