Training
Through community workshops and agency trainings, Dr. Solomon teaches the specific methods that have been shown to work for hundreds of families and their young children with autism. To date, dozens of agency professionals have been trained in The P.L.A.Y. Project methods and thousands of parents have attended Dr. Solomon’s community workshops.
The P.L.A.Y. Project uses a community-based approach. We network with physicians, agencies, schools and families. Dr. Solomon has presented grand rounds to hundreds of pediatricians and primary care providers to educate them about the importance early diagnosis and referral. We train agencies to provide home consultation services to families. Our community trainings help families learn about autism and the benefits of early intervention.
