Standardization of autism services

We know that as an administrator, you must carefully consider professional development options for your staff.

The PLAY Project provides a programming framework for organizations looking to standardize service delivery for children with autism.  When all professionals learn and use PLAY Project techniques, the child receives more intensive intervention and generalization is more likely.  Once we train professionals in the model, they are able to implement the principles, techniques, and methods immediately.  When used as a parent-mediated model, trained professionals coach and model for parents so they can become an active partner in the early intervention process.  As a result, parents are then able to work more effectively with their young children with autism.  The PLAY Project methods and techniques address social interaction, a core deficit of autism.  The program also helps resolve autism symptoms of self-isolation; language delay and impaired communication; repetitive behaviors; and disruptive behaviors.

The PLAY Project is an affordable option for autism service providers and for families.

We invite administrators to join us at training free of charge. More more information, contact us at 734-585-5333 x207.

Reimbursement

Medicaid and Insurance Billing:  PLAY Project services are reimbursable.Community Mental Health organizations in Michigan, Minnesota, and other states are presently billing Medicaid for PLAY Project services. State early intervention programs in Ohio, Utah, Kentucky, and Washington, DC are implementing the PLAY Project through their existing program and reimbursement model.   Behavior training and Behavior management services are an example description for the PLAY Project treatment.  Licensed professionals in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy also use the PLAY Project in autism treatment plans.
